Life Groups – Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Life Group?
Life Groups are small groups of people, ideally between 8-14, that meet weekly in someone’s home.  These groups regularly have fun together, support one another, serve and study together as they develop friendships and seek to grow in relationship with God.

Who can join a Life Group?
All adults are welcome and encouraged to join a Life Group no matter what stage of life or level of spiritual maturity.

What happens at a Life Group?
Each group is different and determines among themselves how they will use their time.  Most groups will begin their time with social visiting, move into a time of study (Bible or book/video relevant to the Bible), and then finish by praying for one another.

What kinds of Life Groups are there?
Most groups are intentionally left open to be diverse among age, sex, marital status, and stage of life.  However there are specific groups available for men, women, couples with young children, and young adults.

How long does a Life Group meeting last?
Each Life Group sets their own schedules and time frames but most groups will meet for 1.5-2 hours

Do I have to commit to a Life Group once I visit?
No.  We encourage everyone to check out multiple groups until they find a place they can call home.  While we want to encourage everyone to choose a group that they can intentionally grow with, there is complete freedom to visit any group and decide to move on to the next.
