First Saturday of each month we visit our friends at Sunrise Senior Living from 2:00-3:30pm, offering tea time for the first hour, followed by some singing and a devotional or small Bible study.

• The Gathering Place Thanks You!

During February we collected new kitchen items and created First Home Welcome baskets for moms at the Gathering Place. Your generosity made it possible for us to start 8 households with brand new stuff. The note below is from the Gathering Place staff.

“I just wanted to extend my thanks again to you and your church for all
the wonderful donations that you brought to us here.  Since you delivered
everything (and that was a job in and of itself), we have been able to bless
so many clients.  We have a tremendous number of women and families
moving into housing, and the fantastic, new gift baskets, dishes, silverware,
and glasses, have been so appreciated by clients and really just a joy to get
to distribute.  It’s not that often that we are able to offer clients so many brand
new home furnishing items.

Again, please pass along our thanks to your church.  I know Stacy that you
got to do a short tour while you were here.  However, if anyone from your
church wants to come for a tour, we are happy to make that happen.  We have
regular tours each month where you get even more information and get to
meet our CEO.
