Young Adults at Family in Christ

The Ascent is a group of young adults who are spending their days studying, working, enjoying marriage or single hood, but most importantly seeking to grow in faith and community. Life in our 20’s and 30’s is full of tough decisions and exciting new beginnings but we can walk this journey together and have fun along the way.

Climbing takes work, but if you are to reach the top then the climb is unavoidable. In many ways life is a climb.

We want to grow. We want to be better. We want to move past the challenges that surround us today. But to do this, we have to climb and that isn’t easy. Climbing involves change, and change difficulty. But there is no way around it if we are going to reach the top. And the top isn’t what we can achieve. The top is the best that God wants for us; it is where he wants to take us…
