“One of these days I’m going to read through the Bible from beginning to end.”
I’ve heard and said this statement countless times. Maybe you have as well. Whether you are new to the Bible or you have been reading it for a long time, regular Bible reading is a valuable practice in our daily life.
One tool available to you is the One Year Bible. The One Year Bible can help to establish a pattern of regular Bible reading in our lives. Also, with the provided questions below, reading the One Year Bible can help you to dig deeper in your reading of Scripture. We want to encourage you to participate in regular Bible reading. If you decide to read through the One Year Bible then here are several suggestions for your time to be as rich as possible.
-
Read the Bible passages corresponding to the schedule of the One-Year Bible (schedule is below if you do not have a One Year Bible). As you read, spend some time each day/week interacting with the information and questions also found with the reading schedule.
-
-
Consider asking your small group to read the Bible in a year together.
-
Share your questions or insights God has shown you with friends and other small group members.
We are very excited about helping you establish a pattern of regular Bible reading in your life routine.

Reading God’s Word on a regular basis will be a rewarding experience in many ways. Keep notes or a journal to log how God has touched you in your reading. If you do, we would be glad to hear from you how God has worked through your reading. Let us seek Him and all he has for us as we approach the depth of his Word.
