Bob and his wife, Jeanne, have been married for sixteen years – both of them were raised nearby in Thornton, Colorado but met on a trip to Israel in 1998. The Lord led them to Family in Christ several years ago and they immediately felt comfortable with the friendly people, the Biblical teaching as well as plenty of opportunities to serve the Body of Christ.

Philip and his family relocated to Northglenn in 1997 and commuted to their old church for 10 years before they decided they needed to change to a location that was closer to their home. They chose Family in Christ because of the youth program and because they felt welcomed from the first time they visited. FIC truly has become their family as they experience life together.

Brett Kellum

Looking for a new church home is never easy, and after moving to the Front Range in 2013, Brett, his wife, and their four kids, were immediately drawn to the people of Family in Christ – a place where they have been able to grow in their faith and where each of them has found a community. Whether a part of the children’s ministry, the LIFT student ministry, singing on the worship team, or leading a Life Group, they love being a part of the FIC church family, and being able to serve in the ways that God has gifted each of them. As an elder and member of FIC, Brett’s prayer is that everyone who walks through the church doors will know the love of Christ and connect with people who will come alongside and spur them towards a deeper and more intimate relationship with Him.

They found Family in Christ Community Church when the building on 112th & Sheridan was in construction. Lenny was at a point in his life where he had given up on God, but Joyce wanted to try this new church out, so they attended one of the first services at the new building. Lenny not only found God there, but also a new family.  Everyone he has met at church has shown so much love, and he would like to do the same for others.

Khristel and Brian have been married 25 years and have no children. They’ve attended Family in Christ since the new building was constructed. Brian has been blessed to be a Deacon for two terms, part of the Cadets Kids’ program, and a leader in the Men’s Group in the past. What drew him and Khristel to this fine church was God. As they were looking for a Bible-teaching pastor they found Pastor Paul – a man who truly wishes to share Christs’ words with us all in a way we understand, and can apply to our lives. The next step is to listen to what God is saying to you.
