Your Safety Is Our Priority

As we continue to see more people attending in-person worship, we just wanted to assure you that Family in Christ continues to follow the local health guidelines associated with COVID-19. When preparing for our first in-person service in July, we were fortunate to have one of our members, a nurse specializing in infectious disease, help walk us through the process.
Here are some of the things we are doing for a healthy church setting during these difficult times:
– Having our members wear a mask from your car to your seat (and while singing), as well as maintain “physical” distancing. This is no different that other public spaces.
– Blocking entry doors open, before and after services, for a no-touch experience, as well as providing hand sanitizer as you arrive.
– The church is sanitized between services and activities. As the children return to weekly gatherings, we are investing in a room fogger to aid in the sanitation process, now that they are finally available again.
– Our H/VAC system is not a closed system. It exhausts 100% of the inside air every 30 minutes, bringing in 100% fresh filtered cooled or heated air every 30 minutes.
– Food and beverages are not served.
– Restrooms are limited to one person at a time.
– Bulletins are no longer printed as they are now sent in the weekly email, can be accessed using the QR code available on the screen at church, as well as HERE on the website .
– Using a reservation system each week for those who plan to attend in person worship.
Together we can make corporate worship meaningful as we keep one another safe.
