Communications Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity to invite someone to join our staff as our next Communication Coordinator! As a large-small church, we have a host of programs, events, and activities designed to help connect people with each other and with God. With that, we would like to have someone continue this important role who is tech-savvy and will fit in well with our staff culture as a team player. This vital position plays a key role in helping us to communicate, create, inspire and draw others into the mission and heart of the church…. to discover life with God together, for the good of the world!

 
Responsibilities:
  • Creates and sends our weekly email. (MailChimp)
  • Comes to weekly Staff Meetings on Tuesdays at 9 am. 
  • Coordinates and oversees workflows for registrations/events.
  • Maintains website, church app, social media, and Planning Center registrations.
  • Maintains promotional events. (includes facility requests using the workflow)
  • Designs graphics. (Canva account available)
  • Works on campus aproximately 70% of their time.
  • Knows, has experience, and is capable of learning graphic systems, website, social media apps.
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Applications Due July 24th.
Position to start Aug 1st.
Aprox 15 hrs a week hourly at $17/hr.
