And let us consider how we may spur [incite, provoke] one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another.
Hebrews 10:24-25
In spite of the expectations that social media and digital networking should help us to make relational connections, the fact is that we as a society are feeling increasingly disconnected from one another and more lonely than ever. What we need is more face-time and less Facebook!
Here at FIC, our Small Group Ministry helps to combat this issue of isolation through Life Groups — groups of 4-10 people meeting on a frequent and regular basis with the purpose of providing opportunities to connect with one another. Within these small Christian communities, we experience deepening friendships, personal growth, and the richness of life lived together with others. Our Life Groups are distinct and dynamic. Some meet in homes, some in coffee shops, some at church. They meet at different times, and on different days, providing a variety of opportunities, no matter your schedule.
