What Worship Looks Like at Family in Christ
While the order of the service may fluctuate at Family in Christ you can expect a blend of different musical worship styles, an engaging and relevant message, a time to give back, as well as the celebration of communion the first weekend of each month.
What our Biblical Teaching is
Pastor Mike Slofstra delivers a biblically based message challenging us to have a heart for the lost and broken. He pulls real life into the sermons and weaves biblical history and personal antidotes throughout.
Corporate prayer is a central part of keeping us connected to God and one another. We always have someone available to pray with you before, during or after service.
There is Time for Fellowship
After the service we hope you’ll stay for a few minutes, meet some people, and enjoy a cup of coffee and a snack! Church is about worshipping God, but it’s also about community and friendship.
What should I Wear?
Come as you are! We have people wearing suits and ties to shorts and t-shirts. The important thing is we want you to feel comfortable wearing what you want. Don’t forget to bring your Bible.
For the Kids….
Birth to 5th grade
* If you are dropping your children off before service, give yourself a few extra minutes to check them in using our secure check-in system
* After you check them in one of our volunteers will help you find the right room for your children.
* We take security of our children seriously so make sure you have your check out code for after service.

6th grade to 12th grade
* Our youth group starts in the main sanctuary partaking of corporate worship. We sit on the right as a group to worship together.
* After the prayer and just before the sermon our students will exit the sanctuary and meet in the youth room to study the Bible and form lasting friendships.
* Pick up for student is in the youth room by the front of the church.
