Prayer Ministry

You can submit a prayer request by one of the following ways:

  • Click the Prayer Request button
  • Fill out a Prayer Request card (found in the seat pockets of our chairs in the Sanctuary) and drop it in the offering plate or put in the wooden prayer box located in the Lobby at the Welcome Center. Additional prayer request cards are available by the prayer box. You have the option of having your request available for the pastor only, for the members of our email prayer chain to offer intercessory prayers on your behalf, and/or to those who may be present at the “Come as You Are” time on Tuesdays.
  • Prayer Team members are available for you if you need one-on-one prayer after services each weekend.
  • Call the church office at (303) 466-7770 during office hours and speak with Pastor Paul.

“Come As You Are” Prayer Time

Tuesdays | 4:00 – 6:00pm
The Sanctuary is open to everyone for Prayer during this time. It’s quiet and the lights are dimmed, come on in!
God loves nothing more than for His children to come to Him in prayer as one of many ways to build a relationship with Him. At Family in Christ, we believe in the power of the One to whom we pray and invite you to expand your time with God by devoting time to your Prayer Life. You may want to consider stopping by the church on Tuesday evenings for “Come as You Are” prayer time. The Sanctuary is open from 4:00 to 6:00pm every Tuesday for anyone to drop in at their convenience to meet God in His house. You can use some of the prayer guides offered, meet with someone for one-on-one prayer, or just pray quietly for whatever God places on your heart. If during the week, you feel the need to pray at the church, the Conference Room and/or the Sanctuary is available for you to find a quiet place to commune when the church is open, Tuesday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Prayer Team/Prayer Chain

Our Prayer Team is a dedicated group of people whose mission is to provide prayer support for our church family in a variety of ways as well as intercessory prayer for you. Our Prayer Chain consists of members whose sole responsibility is to offer intercessory prayer for you. Confidentiality of each request is very important and each prayer team/prayer chain member’s responsibility is to uphold this commitment. We are here for you to help you when you are feeling spiritually lost or at the end of your rope.

The Power of Prayer

It seems one of our strongest connection to God comes at our weakest moments—when we are on our knees in prayer. We are a praying church and we pray during each service for Pastor Paul, the Praise Team, and all our Saturday/Sunday ministries. We pray that God would be glorified, that Christ would enter your life and dwell in your heart, and that the Holy Spirit might lift and lead you to a closer relationship with God and with your very special family here at Family in Christ.
Prayer is as simple as having a conversation with your best friend. Just talk to Him. God can and will use YOU! Consider stretching yourself by expanding your involvement in the prayer life of Family in Christ. If you have any questions or are interested in joining the team, please email
