Women’s Bible Studies:

Tuesdays Nights – God of Covenant by Jen Wilkin

Starting January 7th
6:30 – 8:15pm
at Family in Christ
Hosted by Megan Miller
There are no minor characters in the story of God. Beginning with Genesis 12, walk alongside the fathers of our faith—Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph—to discern Jesus in the stories of His people. Over 10 sessions, discover how God
orchestrates everything for His glory and the good of His people, and see how the God of creation and covenant is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
**Child Care is Available Upon Request during this Study**

Wednesday Mornings – Living A Chocolate Life by Deb Burma

Starting January 15th
9:00 – 11:00am
at Betsy Lamb’s Home
Hosted by Betsy Lamb
Chocolate: Sweet. Rich. Satisfying. Can you imagine life without it? But what does it mean to live a chocolate life? It means experiencing everything from bitter nuggets of pain to sweet morsels of joy, from dark and lumpy to light and smooth. Whatever the shape, flavor, or texture of your days, you can live in the rich and endless supply of the grace that is ours because of Jesus. Are you ready for a treat? The eight chocolate-inspired lessons in this study focus on different aspects of life as a Christian woman, reminding you that you are wrapped in God’s love. Each lesson includes a recipe for a chocolate dessert, a Bible verse to memorize, chocolate fun facts, a suggested group activity, encouragement for life application, and a prayer.

Wednesday Nights – Job by Lisa Harper

Starting February 5th
6:30 – 8:15pm
at Family in Christ
Hosted by Kim Sanger
Joy is the constant companion of the woman who trusts in the Lord. And while you can find it in friends, family, and circumstances, unfailing, persistent joy will only ever overflow from your relationship with Jesus.
Just ask Job, the man from Uz who clung to God’s goodness while all his worldly joys were stripped away.
But how is it possible to hold onto such joy in times of sorrow?
In this 7-session study, discover the redemptive facet of Job’s suffering. Learn to view pain as a way to strengthen your faith, point others to the gospel, and trust in the Lord. Because His providence will never take you to a place where His grace will not sustain you.
**Children’s GEMS & Cadets Club Programs are Available during this Study and Child Care is Available Upon Request**

If you love making handmade cards, then this ministry is for you. The card ministry exists to provide our ministry leaders with handmade cards used to bring well wishes, words of encouragement, express gratitude, celebrations, etc. We also have cards available for the congregation’s personal use. Your $3 donation per card is used to replenish supplies for this ministry.
We currently meet on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday evenings of the month from 6:00 – 8:00pm at Michelle Neal’s home.
Card Ministry Serving Opportunities:
  • Handmade Card Donor – Many experienced card makers have their own supplies readily available and would like to participate in this ministry but their schedule does not allow them to participate in our regular group meetings. We would let you know what types of cards are needed and you can create them from your own environment and donate them to our church.
  • Workshop Demonstrator – As a demonstrator you can share your creativity and help others enjoy creativity and worthwhile accomplishments that make a difference in the lives of others. You do this by creating a design and preparing the supplies to produce cards at our regular group meetings.
  • Workshop Participant – As a participant you attend a group meeting and prepare the cards as directed by the demonstrator. This is a chance to learn from others and release your God-given creativity. We all have it, even if you think you don’t. You might be surprised with your talents once you’ve made your first card.
