Jesus Revealed, Life Received

"These are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name." John 20:31

John does not present Jesus as one spiritual teacher among many. He introduces him as the eternal Word, the Lamb who takes away sin, the true Temple, the Bread of Heaven, the Light of the World, the Good Shepherd, the Resurrection and the Life, and the risen Lord who gives his Spirit to his people.
