Why This Role Matters

At FIC, worship is not filler before the sermon. It is one of the primary ways our church family is formed by the gospel. We are looking for a pastorally-minded worship leader who can help us continue growing in worship that is thoughtful, joyful, biblical, and deeply congregational.

What Worship Feels Like at FIC

On a typical Sunday, you’ll hear kids in the hallway, people lingering after the service, Scripture read clearly, prayers spoken honestly, and a congregation that really wants to sing together.

What You’ll Lead

Worship Planning: Shape weekly services with Scripture, prayer, song, liturgy, and thoughtful transitions.

Team Development: Recruit, disciple, and develop musicians, vocalists, and production volunteers.

Creative Oversight: Help guide stage design, media, special services, and the overall worship environment.

A Gospel-rooted leader who loves Jesus, loves the local church, values theological depth, leads with humility, and wants to help people encounter God through biblically grounded, Spirit-led, congregational worship.

What makes the Front range a great place to Live

Life along the Front Range has a little bit of everything. Some weekends look like heading to the mountains, while others are grabbing dinner downtown, catching a concert at Red Rocks, or watching a Nuggets game. Westminster is a great place to raise a family, slow down enough to know your neighbors, and still have easy access to everything around Denver and Boulder. It’s one of those places that tends to fit a lot of different kinds of people really well.
