Event Description:
Join us as we serve Ryan Elementary through practical projects, blessing teachers, students, and staff in Jesus’ name. This is a great opportunity for families, small groups, and individuals to live out our mission together.

General Reminders

• Bring plenty of water.

• Wear paint-appropriate, comfortable clothing.

• Families welcome; tasks are matched to age appropriateness.

• Faithfulness beats speed: Work safely and thoroughly.

• NOTE: We would love for everyone to bring a lawn chair for the post-project BBQ!

Task 1

Paint curbs 

Description

Repaint bus loop and drop-off curbs

Paint scrapers, paint brushes, containers, rags

Task 2

Power wash curbs

Description

Scrape and prep for painting by power washing curbs (must be done Friday before). Power wash the front sidewalks and entrance areas near door entrances, and mats

Friday or Saturday - Final time TBD (This task will need to be done prior to Sunday morning.)

Task 3

Stain wooden fence

Description

Re-stain the wooden fence next to the parking lot

Clean windows

Description

Scrape off any tape/sticky residue and clean windows

Task 5

Swings and Sidewalk, Sandbox toys

Description

Repaint the legs of the swings on the playground. Sweep sand and rocks back into the sand areas; rake sand areas. Clean and organize sandbox toys.

Front Rock Beds

Description

Pull weeds from rock bed area near front entrance. Level rocks and blow out leaves.

Check-in and Volunteer Coordination

Description

Welcome and coordinate volunteers and supplies, and provide encouragement
