Lift Youth Group is heading to the Apex Rec Center in Arvada for our monthly Uplift community event. We will meet at the Rec Center at 2:45 pm and get picked up at the Rec Center at 5:15 pm. (Note that start time is one hour earlier than our normal schedule!)

Men's Ministry is having a fun Men's Night Out at Empty Quiver Archery in Broomfield (7180 W 117th Ave, Broomfield, CO 80020).

Join us for an archery competition and test your skills with a bow and arrow!

16 years and older welcome. 

Cost: $20 at the event, includes rental equipment.

Join us at 9:00 am Sunday mornings in The Cabin as we journey through the great creeds, councils, and confessions that have shaped the Christian church across the centuries. From the Apostles’ Creed and the Council of Nicaea to the Westminster Confession and the Heidelberg Catechism, we’ll explore how believers have wrestled with questions of truth, unity, and faithfulness in every age. This class will not only give you a deeper understanding of church history but also show how these historic statements continue to guide and inspire our faith today. Whether you are new to these ideas or looking to strengthen your foundation, you’ll find this study both accessible and enriching.  

The series will run Oct-Nov.

GriefShare Begins

We have all lost things. 

Maybe we’ve lost a job, a pet, or, most painful of all, relatives and friends that have been an important part of our lives. Along with the unwelcome loss comes an uninvited “guest” – the grief that we go through before life feels “right” again.

GriefShare is a 13-week group for those grieving a loss. It is safe. It is confidential. It is a place where we can encourage and support each other during our grief journeys. Your loss may be recent or it may have happened long ago. If you would like to meet with others who are wrestling with their grief, you are invited to GriefShare.

Motherhood is hard but it doesn’t have to be lonely!

Here at the MomCo (formerly known as MOPS), we gather and support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together.

Our MomCo group is for moms looking for a warm and welcoming community! We meet from September to May on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. Meetings run from 9:00-11:30 am in the Family in Christ Community Church great room- and childcare is provided (6 months old - Kindergartners.) We use this time together to enjoy relevant speakers, make fun crafts, and connect with other amazing moms who are in the same trenches as us.

Please consider joining us. You are welcome to check us out before committing financially. We’d love to meet you!

Whether you just decided to follow Jesus or have been for some time now, baptism is the next step in our faith journey that Christ calls us to take. Not sure if you are ready? Still have questions? That's okay, come to this class anyhow and we'll explore this beautiful sacrament together.

This class will be held Sunday, Aug 31st at 9 am, BEFORE the 10:00am service.

The baptism itself will be Sunday, Sept 14th during the single service at 10:00 am. (This will be our last single service of the summer.)

Ryan Summer Serve Day

On Sunday morning, August 10 (times vary, but are in the morning), we are going to join together as a whole congregation to serve our neighbors at Ryan Elementary school.  This year for Summer Serve Day, we want most of us to be at the same location, working together as a family.

Chadash Contemporary Dance Presents an Original Production, “Sight”

“Sight,” is based on the idea of seeing with our hearts (“And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye” -The Little Prince) and about walking on that path where those things that are invisible are essential.

Men, join us for some disc golf at the Interlocken East Disc Golf Course. We'll meet at 9 am at the pavilion there for some coffee and breakfast burritos (optional cost) and then will head out in groups to play a round. Easy and fun opportunity to get some fresh air and connect with some new friends. High school boys are welcome to join in the fun, too! 

You don't need to play to join us either! If the body has limits, you are welcome to walk the course with a group, or even just hang out with others at the pavilion. 

Register to let us know you are coming, and so we can buy burritos and discs for those who want/need them! If you have your own disc, obviously you don't need one from us! If you need one, add it to your registration and we'll get you one, or you can buy one at Walmart, Jax, etc.
