Whether you just decided to follow Jesus or have been for some time now, baptism is the next step in our faith journey that Christ calls us to take. Not sure if you are ready? Still have questions? That's okay, come to this class anyhow and we'll explore this beautiful sacrament together.
This class will be held Sunday, Aug 31st at 9 am, BEFORE the 10:00am service.
The baptism itself will be Sunday, Sept 14th during the single service at 10:00 am. (This will be our last single service of the summer.)

MomCo at FIC begins
Motherhood is hard but it doesn’t have to be lonely!
Here at the MomCo (formerly known as MOPS), we gather and support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together.
Our MomCo group is for moms looking for a warm and welcoming community! We meet from September to May on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. Meetings run from 9:00-11:30 am in the Family in Christ Community Church great room- and childcare is provided (6 months old - Kindergartners.) We use this time together to enjoy relevant speakers, make fun crafts, and connect with other amazing moms who are in the same trenches as us.
Please consider joining us. You are welcome to check us out before committing financially. We’d love to meet you!

Women's Mentoring opportunities continue
Join us in Room 159 us as we continue the conversation of mentoring other women in everyday life, faith, and friendship. This is an opportunity to share your ideas and successes in mentoring and ask questions about the how to of mentoring. All are welcome to join!
Mens' Event: Interlocken East Disc Golf
Men, join us for some disc golf at the Interlocken East Disc Golf Course. We'll meet at 9 am at the pavilion there for some coffee and breakfast burritos (optional cost) and then will head out in groups to play a round. Easy and fun opportunity to get some fresh air and connect with some new friends. High school boys are welcome to join in the fun, too!
You don't need to play to join us either! If the body has limits, you are welcome to walk the course with a group, or even just hang out with others at the pavilion.
Register to let us know you are coming, and so we can buy burritos and discs for those who want/need them! If you have your own disc, obviously you don't need one from us! If you need one, add it to your registration and we'll get you one, or you can buy one at Walmart, Jax, etc.

At Lead THE Cause (LTC), youth groups spend an intensive week praying, learning, and brainstorming together to reach their community for Christ. They experience:
DEEP PRAYER
Interceding for their lost friends. Students spend the first day and a half learning to align their heart with God’s and His desire for all to come to faith in Him.
FAITH SHARING
Students get many outreach opportunities to share the Gospel. Two entire afternoons are dedicated to hands-on outreach, speaking with strangers, and starting Gospel conversations. Students are also challenged to bring up the Gospel with friends and family back home via text, phone calls and written letters.
VISION PLANNING
Groups get time to brainstorm together about how to reach their community for Christ. Students will pray and plan ways they can reach their own circles of influence with the Gospel, coming away with a strategic plan and specific goals.
It's a mission trip like no other.

Ages: Rising Kinder (going into kindergarten for the 25-26 school year) to recently graduated 5th graders (completed the grade in the 24-25 school year)
Spin the spinner, beat the clock, skip ahead, level up, and play to win! You’ll need to bring your A-game for this Kids Camp! Twists & Turns is a fantastical celebration of games of all kinds. From classic tabletop games to strategy games and more, kids will play their way through camp! But more importantly, they’ll see Jesus through the eyes of one of His closest friends and discover that trusting Jesus as Savior and following Him changes the game entirely!
If you have friends that want to be together but are in different grades the older child will be assigned the younger grade. Still choose the appropriate grade but let me know if the additional questions and I will assign them.
Race to the Table: A Father & Son Team Adventure
Join Family in Christ’s LIFT and PEAK ministries on Saturday, June 14th from 10am–1:30pm for an unforgettable Father & Son event filled with adventure, competition, and quality time together! Teams will embark on an exciting scavenger hunt across Westminster and Broomfield, tackling fun challenges, solving clues, and making lasting memories. After the hunt, enjoy a delicious cookout and yard games before prizes are awarded to the top teams. Gather your grandpas, dads, and sons, and don’t miss out on this epic day of bonding and fun!

On May 31st from 9 am until we finish, our outside facilities work day will make our church shine! If you can't be there right at 9 am, come when you can!

First Single Service of the Summer
First Single Service Sunday of the Summer and Farewell BBQ
on May 18th
On May 18th, our summer schedule begins and there is only
ONE SERVICE at 10 am!
This will continue throughout the summer, until our fall schedule starts.
Also on May 18th, after the one service at 10 am, there will be a farewell BBQ for James, Wes, and Mary. We will have a time to eat together as a family and celebrate these amazing people as they move on to what God has next for them!
Generational Beauty: Mother/Daughter Spa Night
"A daughter is God's way of saying, 'I thought you could use a lifelong friend.'"
We invite you to join us for a special Family Ministries Mother/Daughter evening to relax, have fun and enjoy one another's company. We will enjoy dinner and dessert followed by a little pampering. Make your own sugar scrub station, pick your color nail polish station, hand masks and more!
Daughters ages 3-20 and their mothers, aunts and/or grandma are all welcome to attend this Mother's Day event. Please invite your other mom/daughter friends as well! Registration will close Wednesday May 7th at 8pm so we can prepare with supplies.

This class will be held Sunday, May 4th after the 10:30am service in The Cabin (Youth Room #147) from about 11:45am–12:30pm.
The baptism itself will be Sunday, May 18th during a single service at 10:00 am service. (Yes, this is the week we transition to our summer single service schedule)
Ladies Spring Tea
Join the women of Family In Christ Church for a delightful Spring Tea on May 3, 2025, from 1-3 PM in the Great Room.
Celebrate "My Cup Runneth Over" (Psalm 23:5) with speakers Morgan Kellum ("Ceramics seen through the lens of Scripture," Isaiah 64:8) and Katie Jones sharing her testimony of God's molding hand.
Enjoy tea, treats (including dietary options), and fellowship.
Bring your young ladies! Children's activities provided.
Wear your spring finest and your best tea hat. Hat-making available at 12:30 PM. (The focus of this event is being in community, so please come... dressed up or casual!)
Cost: $15 per person, or $20 total for families with young ladies under 12.
Registration closes April 27th.
We are doing table registrations this year, so please provide a few names of those you might like to sit with during the event. We will do our best to seat you with those ladies, but make no guarantees.
No need to bring food! All food and drinks are provided, including foods for dietary restrictions.

Family in Christ’s Easter services will be at 9:00 am and 10:30 am on Easter Sunday, April 20th. If you are checking kids in to our PEAK children’s classrooms, the closest doors to check-in are the west doors.

Ash Wednesday Prayer and Service
Ash Wednesday
There will be a time of prayer before the service at 6 pm, and then the Ash Wednesday service with imposition of ashes will begin at 6:30 pm.
Join us for this service on the first day of Lent, where we reflect together on the importance of repentance and the foreshadowing of hope.
Ash Wednesday Childcare Available!
On Ash Wednesday, there will be childcare starting at 6 pm for birth to 5th grade.
We will have nursery care from birth to 3 years old.
Kids that are 3 years old to 5th grade will participate in a Children’s Ash Wednesday service at 6 pm!
There will be no Summit Night dinner in March due to the special Ash Wednesday service.
