The Book of Jonah

“And he prayed to the Lord and said, ‘O Lord, is not this what I said when I was yet in my country?

That is why I made haste to flee to Tarshish; for I knew that you are a gracious God and merciful,

slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, and relenting from disaster.”

The Book of Jonah sermon series is 5-week series showcasing God’s compassion for the world.

We get Jonah. He knows the truth and struggles to live into it. He’s as preoccupied with other

people’s sins as he is wrapped up in his own. On the heels of the SENT series, this five week series

will help us explore the nature of our sin, the nature of our deliverance, and how we can turn

towards the glorious heart of God for ourselves and the world.
